Position: MYP Design / STREAM Facilitator

Pan-Asia International School (an IB World School), Bangkok is seeking a well-qualified MYP Design / STREAM Facilitator (Teacher) for an immediate start. This position is specifically for MYP 1 and MYP 2 students, with a strong focus on STREAM education through VEX IQ robotics and Micro:bit programming. The role emphasizes inquiry-based learning, teamwork, and the IB Design Cycle to help students develop creativity, problem-solving, and innovation skills.

All applicants for a teaching position at Pan-Asia International School must have at least a teaching degree and a minimum of two to three consecutive years of teaching experience. These are some of the requirements foreign nationals need to work as a teacher in Thailand in order to obtain a work permit.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach MYP 1 and 2 Design, delivering engaging lessons aligned with IB standards.
• Guide students in building, programming, and competing with VEX IQ robots.
• Introduce coding and electronics through hands-on Micro:bit activities.
• Teach inquiry, planning, creating, and evaluating through the Design Cycle.
• Work with faculty to design interdisciplinary projects.
• Ensure student safety and well-being at all times.

At PAIS, the safeguarding of our students is at the core of all that we do. Before we can consider an appointment, we must receive:

• Acceptable police checks, or equivalent, from the country of origin and from the local country.
• Global police check verified through an international agency.
• Appropriate references from current and previous employers.

For this position, PAIS requires at least a Bachelor's degree in the field and a minimum of 2 to 3 years of teaching experience in international schools. A degree in education and IB school teaching experience will be an added plus.
