Pan-Asia International School (IB World School), Bangkok, is seeking a qualified Music Facilitator for an immediate start.

The school is looking for a well-qualified applicant with a pleasing personality, good work ethic, and a proven track record of graduating students. Applicants for a teaching position at Pan-Asia International School must have at least a teaching degree and a minimum of two to three consecutive years of teaching experience in Music. These are the requirements foreign nationals need to work as teachers in Thailand in order to obtain a work permit.

This role requires a passionate and experienced music educator who can guide students through a comprehensive music curriculum.

Knowledge and Experience

  • Minimum 2 to 3 years of music teaching experience in a school setting.
  • Strong knowledge and experience in teaching Piano, with the ability to instruct students of different skill levels.
  • Confident vocalist with the ability to lead singing activities and school performances.
  • Experience teaching music literacy, theory, and practical musicianship.
  • Proven experience organizing and coordinating school music events, concerts, and performances.
  • Ability to foster students' creativity, confidence, and appreciation of music through engaging lessons.

Desired Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Music Education, Performance, Theory, or a related field.
  • Valid teaching certification, where applicable.
  • Prior experience or training in the IB Programme is highly preferred.

Safeguarding and Application Requirements

For all at PAIS, the safeguarding of students is at the core of everything they do. Before an appointment can be considered, the school must receive acceptable police checks (or equivalent) from the country of origin and from the local country, as well as three appropriate references from current and previous employers.

For this position, PAIS requires at least a Bachelor's Degree in the field and a minimum of 2 to 3 years of teaching experience in international schools. A degree in education and IB school teaching experience will be an added plus.

Recruitment procedures require all applicants called for an interview to present their original documents and be ready for a teaching demonstration if required.
