Middle School Science Teacher

Canadian International School of Thailand (IB World School) is seeking motivated and enthusiastic qualified teachers for an immediate start for the Academic Year 2026–2027. We are growing and hiring teachers who will engage our students.

Available Full-Time Teaching Position:

• Middle School / Secondary Science Teacher

Do You Meet the Requirements?

• Do you have a teaching qualification? (BEd, PGCE, GDipEd, or equivalent from an accredited university)
• Are you a qualified teacher in your home country?
• Do you have a strong academic and/or teaching background in Science?
• Do you have experience teaching Middle School / Secondary students?

Additional Qualifications/Experience/Skills:

• A strong academic and/or teaching background in Science
• Experience teaching Middle School / Secondary students
• Previous IB MYP experience, preferably within an IB World School
• Experience with inquiry-based and student-centred learning
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• The ability to collaborate effectively with other teachers and departments
• A recognized teaching qualification or relevant education credentials
• International school experience would be an advantage

As CIST continues strengthening the alignment between the Ontario Curriculum and the IB framework, it would be particularly valuable to find someone who is comfortable delivering strong subject knowledge through inquiry, interdisciplinary learning, and real-world application. This supports our wider academic direction of combining Ontario Curriculum expectations with the inquiry-based approach of the IB.

Salary: Starting from 80,000 THB/month, depending on qualifications and experience.
