Middle School Science & Math Teacher Grades 6-8

Canadian International School of Thailand (IB World School - PYP/MYP) PreK3 - Grade 12 is seeking motivated and enthusiastic qualified teachers for the Academic Year 2026-2027, starting in August 2026. We are growing and hiring teachers who will engage our students. We are particularly interested in educators with strong Science and Math teaching skills and an interest or experience in STEM, Robotics, Coding, or Programming.

• Do you hold a recognized teaching qualification (BEd, PGCE, GDipEd, or equivalent from an accredited university)?
• Are you a qualified teacher in your home country?
• Are you a native English speaker?

Available Full-Time Teaching Position

Middle School / High School Science and Math Teacher (Grades 6-8) – 1 Position

Key Responsibilities

• Teach Grades 6-8 Mathematics and Science aligned with the IB MYP framework
• Plan and deliver engaging, inquiry-based lessons that promote conceptual understanding
• Design and implement assessments aligned with curriculum standards
• Differentiate instruction to support diverse learners
• Maintain effective classroom management and a positive learning environment
• Collaborate with Math and Science departments on curriculum planning
• Integrate technology and STEM-based approaches into teaching and learning

Preferred Additional Responsibilities

• Contribute to STEM, Robotics, Programming, or Coding enrichment activities
• Support after-school clubs, competitions, or project-based learning initiatives related to STEM

Qualifications / Experience / Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Science, Biology, Education, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred)
• Valid teaching qualification or license
• Minimum two years of classroom teaching experience
• Experience teaching middle school and/or high school students
• IB MYP experience is an advantage, but not required
• Experience or strong interest in STEM, Robotics, Coding, Programming, or Technology Integration is highly preferred
• Strong communication, organizational, and classroom management skills
• EAL experience is an advantage
