Middle High School English Teacher

Oak Meadow International School in Phuket is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Middle/High School English Teacher. Position: Middle/High School English Teacher (Native Speaker)

Salary: Starting at 45,000 THB per month, with an additional housing stipend and consideration for teaching experience.

Location: Oak Meadow International School, Phuket

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging English lessons for Middle and High School students.
• Develop lesson plans, teaching materials, activities, and assessments.
• Create a positive, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment.
• Assess and monitor students' academic progress, providing constructive feedback.
• Support students in developing their English language, communication, reading, writing, and critical-thinking skills.
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues about student progress and wellbeing.
• Participate in school activities, meetings, professional development, and other school events.
• Maintain accurate student records and contribute to the school’s academic programs.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in English, Education, or a related field.
• Teaching qualification or certification preferred.
• Previous experience teaching at the Middle/High School level is an advantage.
• Strong English communication skills, both spoken and written.
• Strong classroom management and interpersonal skills.
• A student-centered, positive approach to teaching.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of an international team.
• Experience in an international school is an advantage.
