Mathematics Teacher ISP Program

Learn Satit Pattana School (LSP) is seeking a passionate and dedicated Mathematics Teacher to join our team for the ISP program. This is a full-time, fixed-term position starting May 2026. The successful candidate will teach secondary students (Grades 9–11) under the U.S. curriculum, inspire learners, strengthen mathematical understanding, and foster critical thinking skills within a supportive and innovative learning environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging mathematics lessons aligned with the U.S. curriculum.
• Develop students’ understanding of core mathematical concepts, including algebra, geometry, statistics, and calculus, and strengthen problem-solving, analytical, and reasoning skills.
• Incorporate applied mathematics topics, such as business mathematics and personal finance (where relevant), to connect learning to real-world situations.
• Differentiate instruction using a variety of teaching strategies to meet diverse learning needs and styles.
• Integrate project-based learning to promote critical thinking, creativity, and practical application of mathematical concepts.
• Assess and monitor students’ progress, providing timely and constructive feedback.
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and collaborative classroom environment that encourages student engagement and academic excellence.
• Teach Advanced Placement (AP) courses and prepare students for college-level study.
• Support outstanding students in extracurricular programs, including preparation for national and global mathematics competitions.
• Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development, instructional planning, and broader school initiatives.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mathematics, Education, Business, or a related field.
• Teaching license from Kurusapa (temporary or permanent) preferred.
• Minimum of 2–3 years of teaching experience in secondary mathematics (Grades 9–11) preferred; experience with AP courses is a plus.
• Native English speaker.
• Excellent classroom management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to foster a positive, inclusive, and collaborative learning environment.
• Familiarity with educational technology and digital tools for teaching and assessment.
