Mandarin Chinese Teacher Maternity Cover

Aster International School Bangkok is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Mandarin Chinese Teacher to join our team on a temporary maternity cover contract.

Contract Period: November 2026 to mid-March 2027

Salary: THB 45,000–65,000 per month, depending on qualifications and experience

Location: Sathorn, Bangkok

The Role

The successful candidate will teach Mandarin Chinese across both Primary and Secondary age groups, working as part of our Languages team and wider international school community. We are looking for a teacher who can deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons and build positive relationships with students across a range of ages and abilities.

Requirements

• A relevant degree and recognised teaching qualification
• Experience teaching Mandarin Chinese
• A good level of spoken and written English
• The ability to teach across Primary and Secondary age groups
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• A positive, flexible, and professional approach

Previous experience teaching in an international school setting would be beneficial.

This is a temporary maternity cover position from November 2026 until approximately mid-March 2027. Full contract terms and conditions will be discussed at interview. Salary will be between THB 45,000 and THB 65,000 per month, depending on qualifications and relevant experience.
