Satit Bilingual School of Rangsit University (SBS), Bangkok, is seeking a native English-speaking, dynamic, and committed Lower Secondary English and Music Teacher to join our international teaching team. This role focuses on teaching English and Music to Lower Secondary students (approximately Year 7–10). The successful candidate should be able to support students' English language development and deliver engaging, well-structured Music lessons.

Responsibilities
  • Teach English, focusing on language development: reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills.
  • Teach Music, including basic music theory, listening skills, performance, creativity, and ensemble work.
  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the Cambridge International Curriculum framework and school schemes of work.
  • Prepare lesson plans, teaching resources, and assessments; maintain accurate records on the school’s administrative systems.
  • Adapt teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of learners, including EAL students.
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive, age-appropriate feedback.
  • Establish clear classroom expectations and support students’ academic, social, and personal development.
  • Communicate effectively with parents/guardians regarding student progress and wellbeing.
  • Support or lead music-related extracurricular activities, such as choir, ensembles, performances, assemblies, or clubs.
  • Attend faculty meetings, professional development sessions, and school events.
  • Undertake additional professional responsibilities as assigned by the Principal.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, English, Music, Performing Arts, or a related field.
  • Recognised professional teaching qualification / licence / certification.
  • A music-related qualification or strong practical music background is highly desirable.
  • A Master’s degree is an advantage.
Experience
  • Minimum 2 years’ post-qualification teaching experience in a structured school setting.
  • Experience teaching English and/or Music to Primary or Lower Secondary students.
  • Familiarity with Cambridge International Education or other international curricula is an advantage.
  • Experience working with EAL learners in an international school environment.
  • Confidence in delivering practical and performance-based Music lessons.
