Lead Toddler Teacher

THM International School is seeking an experienced Lead Toddler Teacher (ages 1.6–3) for our American Curriculum × Montessori program. Native English proficiency is required; US teaching experience or an American teaching credential is preferred.

THM International School (Tree House Montessori) is seeking an experienced and passionate Lead Toddler Teacher to join our growing international school in Nonthaburi, Thailand. Our Toddler program serves children aged 1.6–3 years and combines an American Curriculum with Montessori education, with an emphasis on hands-on learning, independence, curiosity, confidence, and whole-child development.

We are looking for a warm, energetic, and highly capable teacher who genuinely enjoys working with young children and understands their developmental, social, and emotional needs.

Position Details

• Position: Lead Toddler Teacher
• Age Group: 1.6–3 years
• Location: Nonthaburi (Nichada Thani area)
• Start Date: As soon as possible
• Employment: Full-time

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Toddler classroom and teaching team
• Plan and deliver engaging, developmentally appropriate learning experiences
• Create a warm, nurturing, safe, and stimulating classroom environment
• Support children’s language, cognitive, physical, social, and emotional development
• Encourage independence, confidence, curiosity, and positive relationships
• Observe and document children’s development and progress
• Build positive and professional relationships with parents
• Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and the wider school team

Qualifications & Experience

• Native-level English proficiency
• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Education, or a related field
• Experience teaching toddlers or young children, preferably ages 1.5–3
• Strong understanding of early childhood development
• Warm, patient, nurturing, and confident classroom presence
• Strong communication and classroom management skills
• US teaching experience or an American teaching credential is highly preferred
• Montessori training or experience is an advantage
• International school experience is an advantage
