Lead SAT Math Teacher and Test Prep Specialist
About this position
Omega Prep Tutoring School in Bangkok is looking for an engaging and dedicated SAT Math expert to fill the role of Lead SAT Math Teacher and Test Prep Specialist. This part-time, contract position is located in Central Bangkok, within a short walking distance from BTS Ari. We offer a competitive hourly rate starting at ฿1,000 per hour.
As a member of our team, you will not simply tutor, but act as an educational mentor, helping students from top international and boarding schools excel in the SAT Math section. You will demystify complex mathematical concepts and instill confidence and rigorous problem-solving skills in our students.
Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth, exploratory lessons that clarify foundational math theories, formulas, and problem-solving basics.
- Provide direct, real-time feedback on student work and practice test answers.
- Mentor students to enhance their clarity of thought and confidence in tackling new mathematical challenges.
- Serve as a sounding board to help students master both foundational and advanced algebraic concepts.
Candidate Requirements
- Native English speaker from the USA, UK, Canada, Australia, or New Zealand.
- Strong background in Mathematics, Engineering, Physics, or a related STEM field.
- Proficient in teaching fundamental and advanced mathematical concepts.
- Ability to deliver sharp, immediate feedback on complex mathematical problems.
- Engaging presence that motivates students.
- Currently residing full-time in Bangkok, Thailand.
- Excellent English writing and communication skills.
