About Us

Hillside Collegiate Sokcho (formerly SIS Canada) is an American-curriculum school in the coastal town of Sokcho, Gangwon-do, South Korea. The school is fully accredited by Accreditation International (Ai), NCPSA, and MSA-CESS and prepares students for success in U.S. or Canadian secondary schools.

Position Details

• Start Date: June 1, 2026
• End Date: October 31, 2026 or November 30, 2026
• Grade Levels: Kindergarten (ages 4–6)
• Class size: 13–14 students per class, with a Korean aide teacher
• Number of classes: 2
• Subjects: Phonics, storytelling, theme class, P.E., science, free play, and field trips
• Location: Sokcho, Gangwon-do, South Korea

Qualifications

• TEFL certificate holder or similar qualification preferred
• Eligible for an E-2 or F-series visa (F visa holders preferred)
• Passport holder from one of the seven English-speaking countries
