Kindergarten Homeroom Teacher

Urgently required! Cranberry International School is seeking a qualified native English speaker to teach as a Homeroom Teacher in our nursery or kindergarten class, starting May 2026. Multiple positions available.

Cranberry International School is a small international school in Lampang Province, northern Thailand, offering international education with a US standards-based curriculum from Nursery to Grade 6. We are looking for qualified native English speakers to join our diverse teaching staff as Homeroom Teachers starting in the last quarter of our academic year.

• Title: Kindergarten Homeroom Teacher
• Start Date: 05 May 2026
• Contract Term: 1 or 2 years (May 2026 - Jul. 2027/2028) with possibility of renewal

Job Description

• Teach various subjects to the assigned class in English.
  • Nursery: ELA, Numeracy, Science, Art, PE
  • Kindergarten: ELA, Math, Science, Social Studies, Arts, PE
• Prepare lesson plans and assessments in line with curriculum materials. Evaluate student progress and issue end-of-term reports.
• Work with a Teacher's Assistant to manage the classroom and students.
• Organize school events and activities.
• Communicate with parents via the class Line group chat and parent-teacher meetings.
• Perform other required administrative duties (e.g., weekly gate duty, student supervision duty).
• Other details:
  • Working hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
  • Maximum 190 school days per academic year (see school calendar at www.cranberry.ac.th).
  • Maximum number of students per class: 20
  • Maximum teaching hours per week: 20

Qualifications

• Must be a native English speaker with a minimum of 1 year teaching experience and hold at least a bachelor’s degree in Education, English, or a related field.
• Must be eligible to apply for Thailand’s Non-Immigrant Type B visa / Teacher’s License or Temporary Teaching Permit / Work Permit.
• Able to manage a classroom of up to 20 students and create engaging lessons appropriate to the age group across subjects.
• Familiarity with relevant technology and online resources for education.
• Preference for candidates willing to live and work in a peaceful town in northern Thailand.
• Must be able to start work by the specified date and complete the entire school year per the contract term.

Compensation & Benefits

• Starting salary: 37,000 THB / month
