Kindergarten Homeroom Teacher

Cranberry International School in Lampang, northern Thailand, is seeking a Kindergarten Homeroom Teacher to join our small international school. We offer education from Nursery to Grade 6 based on a US standards-based curriculum. We are looking for qualified native English speakers to begin in the last quarter of our academic year.

Position

Start Date: May 5, 2026

Contract Term: 1 or 2 years (May 2026 - July 2027/2028) with potential for renewal

Responsibilities

• Teach English, Math, Science, Social Studies, Arts, and PE to kindergarten students.
• Develop lesson plans and assessments, evaluate student progress, and issue end-of-term reports.
• Collaborate with a Teacher's Assistant for classroom management.
• Organize school events and activities.
• Communicate with parents through Line group chats and meetings.
• Perform administrative duties such as weekly gate duty and student supervision.
• Work hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m., with a maximum of 190 school days per year and 20 teaching hours per week.

Qualifications

• Native English speaker with at least one year of teaching experience and a bachelor’s degree in Education, English, or a related field.
• Eligible for Thailand’s Non-Immigrant Type B visa, Teacher’s License or Temporary Teaching Permit, and Work Permit.
• Ability to manage a classroom of up to 20 students and create engaging lessons.
• Proficient in using technology and online resources in education.
• Preference for living and working in a peaceful town in northern Thailand.
• Must start work by the specified date and complete the school year as per the contract.

Compensation and Benefits

• Starting salary of 37,000 THB per month
