Kindergarten English Teacher in China

About the Role

As a Kindergarten ESL Teacher, you will work with children aged 2 to 6, helping them build confidence and communication skills through fun, interactive lessons. You will be part of a supportive teaching team, with one to three local teaching assistants in each class.

Key Responsibilities

• Create engaging, age-appropriate English lessons
• Foster a fun, safe, and positive learning environment
• Manage classroom routines and encourage student participation
• Track student progress and provide feedback
• Contribute to classroom decoration and teaching materials

Working Schedule

Monday to Friday: 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM, with a 1 to 2 hour lunch break. 40 working hours per week, weekends off. Winter and summer holidays are 2 to 6 weeks. Start date: Peak intake is August 2026, and other start times are also available.

Salary & Benefits

Salary: 12,000 – 20,000 CNY per month.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree (Education, Linguistics, or Psychology preferred)
• Native English speaker from the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, or South Africa
• TEFL, TESOL, or CELTA certificate, or 2 years of teaching experience
• Clean criminal background check
• Teaching experience with young children aged 2 to 6 is preferred, but applicants without prior experience are welcome; training will be provided
• Strong communication and classroom management skills
• Ability to engage and inspire young learners in a diverse, multicultural setting
