Teacher Salary and Benefits

• Start date: August 2026
• Salary: $2,500 - $4,000 USD per month, tax-free, based on qualifications, teaching certification, and experience
• Annual round-trip airfare for the employee and eligible dependents. First-year flights are booked by the school; thereafter, a yearly ticket allowance is provided.
• A monthly housing allowance of BHD 190 to BHD 310 is provided, based on family status.
• National and school holidays
• International medical insurance is provided for the employee and eligible dependents.
• BHD 250 settling-in allowance upon arrival
• BHD 125 visa allowance for employees arriving in Bahrain with a completed work visa obtained overseas
• BHD 130 baggage allowance during the first contract year
• 50% tuition discount for up to two children of eligible overseas teaching staff
• End-of-service benefit provided in accordance with Bahrain Labour Law
• Contract length: 2 years, renewable by mutual agreement

Teacher Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field relevant to the teaching position.
• A recognized teaching qualification or teaching license is preferred and may be required for certain positions in accordance with Bahrain Ministry requirements.
• Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience preferred; exceptional newly qualified teachers are encouraged to apply.
• Strong knowledge of instructional strategies, curriculum planning, assessment, and classroom management.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive, and student-centered learning environment.
• Ability to integrate technology effectively into teaching and learning.
