General Details

• Location: Surat Thani
• Level: Kindergarten, Primary and High School
• Work Days: Mon - Fri (Sat – Sun classes also available)
• Contact Time: An average of 20 teaching hours per week during the semester, with opportunities for additional hours
• Class size: 16 students – 30 students

Responsibilities

• Teach in a primary school and private language school
• Plan and teach lessons using the lesson plan guidelines and materials provided
• Complete speaking and written assessments with the children using the test material provided

Compensation & Benefits

• 400B per contact hour (minimum 32,000 Baht a month)
• Insurance provided, if needed
• All 6 month work visa and permits paid
• Semesterly contracts, renewable by mutual agreement based on satisfactory performance and operational needs
• Structured induction
• Regular observations and constructive teaching feedback

Qualifications

• A native speaker from the U.S., U.K., Ireland, Canada, Australia, South Africa or New Zealand with a Degree. Fluent non-native speaking teachers with an Education Degree and TOEIC certification may apply
• TEFL/TESOL certification
• Enthusiastic with a can-do attitude
• Reliable and great with children
• A desire and passion to make a difference
