Japan: Teach Children Ages 2 to 15

Tamaki TEFL Recruitment (TTR) represents one of Japan's leading language schools. This role is with a private language school, so class sizes are considerably smaller than in public schools. The teaching approach is active, incorporating songs, flashcards, and games into lessons. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher

• TEFL certification is not required but is recommended

• Native-level English speaker

• Japanese language skills are not required, but we recommend studying before departure to make the transition smoother

• Enthusiastic, adaptable, and energetic individuals

Salary and Benefits

• Monthly salary: 240,000 Yen/month

• End of contract bonus: 80,000 Yen and opportunities for renewal as well as salary increases, paid holidays, and bonuses

• Visa sponsorship and full support obtaining the working visa

• TTR supports teachers from the interview stage through arrival, including pre-departure guidance, document preparation, and general daily living advice

• Two weeks of paid training (teachers will observe their trainer and teach in a real classroom setting for up to six days in Nagoya or Osaka)

• Company apartment set up for teachers (teachers move to their placement location after training finishes)

• Full assistance with opening a Japanese bank account, enrollment in the Japanese National Health Insurance (NHI), ongoing training throughout the year, and observations with feedback from a local supervisor
