Amnuay Silpa School in Bangkok is seeking a dedicated and experienced TEFL teacher for an Intervention/Cover position, commencing in May 2026. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching, high expectations for student learning, and the ability to inspire and motivate young learners. Strong English communication skills, excellent classroom management, and a collaborative spirit with the teaching team are essential.

Qualifications

• Native English speaker
• Preferably residing in Bangkok, Thailand
• Enthusiastic, adaptable, and committed
• Bachelor’s Degree
• Relevant TEFL qualification (e.g., Cambridge CELTA/DELTA, Trinity CertTESOL, or equivalent)
• Familiarity with the England & Wales Curriculum is desirable
• Minimum of one year’s teaching or support experience is preferred
• Experience working in Thailand is advantageous but not necessary

• Set high behavior expectations and maintain discipline through focused teaching
• Implement effective lesson structures and maintain lesson pace
• Use varied teaching methods to promote student thinking and engagement
• Develop and utilize appropriate learning resources
• Evaluate and improve teaching strategies
• Plan and assess based on clear learning objectives
• Communicate effectively about student progress and collaborate with other teachers
• Contribute to the school's extracurricular activities and overall objectives
• Participate in professional development and school policies
