Amnuay Silpa School in Bangkok is seeking a dedicated and experienced TEFL teacher for an Intervention/Cover position, commencing in May 2026. Qualifications
- Native English speaker
- Preferably residing in Bangkok, Thailand
- Enthusiastic, adaptable, and committed
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Relevant TEFL qualification (e.g., Cambridge CELTA/DELTA, Trinity CertTESOL, or equivalent)
- Familiarity with the England & Wales Curriculum is desirable
- Minimum of one year’s teaching or support experience is preferred
- Experience working in Thailand is advantageous but not necessary
Responsibilities
- Establish a secure and motivating classroom environment
- Set high behavior expectations and maintain discipline through focused teaching
- Implement effective lesson structures and maintain lesson pace
- Use varied teaching methods to promote student thinking and engagement
- Develop and utilize appropriate learning resources
- Evaluate and improve teaching strategies
- Plan and assess based on clear learning objectives
- Communicate effectively about student progress and collaborate with other teachers
- Contribute to the school's extracurricular activities and overall objectives
- Participate in professional development and school policies
