International School Librarian

Start: August 2026

You will help manage and develop our school library while creating an exciting, welcoming space where students love to read, learn, and explore ideas. The role includes supporting literacy activities, organizing engaging library sessions, and helping students become confident independent learners.

Responsibilities

• Manage and organise the school library
• Encourage students to read regularly and enjoy books
• Create attractive displays and reading spaces
• Support teachers with library resources
• Lead fun library and reading activities
• Help students develop independent learning and research skills
• Assist with school events and activities
• Support after-school clubs and enrichment opportunities

Requirements

• Library experience, with experience working with schools and children
• Knowledge of children’s literature and children’s resources to support the curriculum
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Strong organisational skills
• Excellent command of English (native-level fluency preferred)
• Committed to values-based education
