IELTS & B1 English Teacher

We are a registered British Council IELTS Registration Centre delivering structured IELTS and B1 (CEFR) coaching for teenagers and adults. Due to increased enrolment, we are seeking an experienced exam-focused English teacher for an immediate start.

Start Date: Immediate

Location: Hua Hin, Prachuap Khiri Khan, Thailand

Role Overview

• Teaching IELTS preparation (Speaking, Writing, Reading, Listening)
• Teaching B1-level General English aligned to CEFR outcomes
• Exam strategy, band descriptors, accuracy, and confidence building
• Small group and one-to-one coaching
• Use of recognised IELTS and CEFR-aligned materials

Essential Requirements

• Be currently in Thailand
• Hold a Bachelor’s degree eligible for a Thai work permit
• Hold a recognised teaching qualification (CELTA, Trinity CertTESOL, or equivalent)
• Have proven experience teaching IELTS and/or B1
• Demonstrate native-level English proficiency (C2) suitable for exam preparation
• Have clear, neutral spoken English appropriate for IELTS delivery
• Be professional, reliable, and available immediately

Strongly Preferred

• Experience teaching IELTS Speaking and Writing
• Familiarity with British Council / Cambridge IELTS frameworks
• Experience working with Thai learners
