About this position
The British Council Thailand, located in Bangkok, is seeking Hourly Paid Instructors of English to join our team beginning in mid-May 2026. This is a part-time role on a fixed-term contract for one year, with the possibility of renewal. The role focuses on teaching children at our teaching centres on weekends and at partner schools on weekdays.
Responsibilities- Teach students and deliver planned lessons
- Monitor and support learners' progress and performance
- Contribute to course monitoring, evaluation and development
- Engage in professional development and performance management
- Support the broader objectives of the British Council
- First degree
- CELTA or equivalent qualification
- Some experience teaching young learners
- Familiarity with Thai learners is preferred
- Open to native and non-native English speakers; non-native speakers must demonstrate CEFR C2 level
- Paid visa and work permit

Compensation: starting pay rate of ฿946.50 per hour, with potential increases based on qualifications.
