High School English Teacher

We are seeking a dedicated, student-centered High School English Teacher to teach Grades 9–12 Language Arts, including literature, writing, and critical communication skills. The ideal candidate will inspire critical thinking and foster a supportive learning environment.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver engaging, standards-aligned English Literature and Language Arts curricula for Grades 9–12.
• Assess student performance using formative and summative methods, and provide actionable feedback to support student growth.
• Integrate pedagogical strategies that develop critical thinking, analytical writing, and collaborative discussion.
• Maintain clear communication with students, parents, and administrative colleagues regarding academic progress and student well-being.
• Update the mark book for report cards.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in English, English Education, Literature, or a related field.
• Valid teaching license or certification for Secondary Education (English).
• Minimum of 2–3 years of teaching experience in high school English (Grades 9–12).
• Native-level English proficiency with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
