High School English Core Project Teacher

About this position
DSIL is looking for dynamic, flexible, and passionate teachers to join our English Team at our non-profit school. We are currently seeking a High School teacher to facilitate both English Core and Project classes for grades seven through twelve, supporting the expansion of our English and international programming.
The main responsibilities of this role include:
- 7 hours of English Core instruction
- 3-5 hours of Project support
- Support for other English activities, such as after-school programs, tutoring, and sports, each week
Our school, located on the KMUTT campus, is founded on the education philosophy of Constructionism. Our long-standing relationships with MIT and Stanford University provide access to learning frameworks such as the FabLearn Lab and the Compassionate Systems approach, as well as international opportunities for both students and faculty.
We believe deeply in hands-on learning, curiosity, and helping children grow into self-directed, lifelong learners.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- Complete command of the English language
- NES or NNES with proof of proficiency
- International experience
- Compassion for children and teens
- Open-minded willingness to learn and try new things
- Previous experience in education is helpful but not required
- Experience with alternative or progressive education models is a strong advantage
In the Primary School, English learning is divided into Project English and Core English.
Teachers may also lead and contribute to school-wide activities such as clubs, sports, field trips, English classes for Thai colleagues, term break camps, cultural immersion experiences, and community events. The role requires flexibility, patience, and a genuine passion for mentoring young learners.
