Role: (Group) Learning Experience Manager (G/LXM) — equivalent to Academic Manager. ASAP start in January-February 2026.

Mission: The (Group) Learning Experience Manager (G/LXM) is responsible for strategically planning, implementing, and improving the delivery of a high-quality EFL teaching programme that supports both individual centre goals and the wider organisation's objectives. This role requires close cooperation with Centre Managers (CMs) and Group Centre Managers (GCMs) to understand and respond to each centre's specific business needs.

The G/LXM should exemplify Apollo English's values and principles, acting as an outstanding representative both inside and outside the workplace. By consistently maintaining these standards, the G/LXM helps bolster the company’s reputation and success.

Scope

The (Group) Learning Experience Manager plays a central role in supporting Apollo's mission by ensuring consistency in learning experience systems and promoting teacher development at centre level.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all aspects of the LX department, aligning activities with the two centres' delivery plan and the organisation's strategic priorities.
  • Work closely with the Centre Manager (CM) to lead strategic development at the centre, ensuring alignment with the centre's goals and the organisation's vision.
  • Foster a culture of continuous professional growth among teachers through robust training and development initiatives.
  • Ensure the smooth delivery of outstanding learning experiences that surpass expectations, while also driving teacher development.
  • Provide strong management and communication, demonstrate leadership within the centres by setting a positive example, act as the main reference for academic matters, enable effective cross-team communication, and ensure tasks are completed on time with attention to detail.

Requirements

  • Native-level English proficiency, enabling effective communication in a multicultural, international environment.
  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree (mandatory to meet work permit criteria).
  • CELTA/Trinity TESOL accreditation or an equivalent qualification demonstrating teaching competence.
  • At least 3 years of teaching experience; candidates with prior management experience are preferred.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, time-management, and organisational skills.
  • Adaptability and cultural sensitivity, promoting an inclusive environment that values diversity.
