About this position
Theodore International School (TIS) in Chumphon, Thailand, is seeking a qualified Grade 5 Homeroom Teacher for a full-time position. The role involves teaching a variety of subjects, including Science, Math, Language Arts, Social Studies, Art, and Technology.
The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary of 39,000 to 44,000 THB per month, including housing and food stipends.

Qualifications
- At least a Bachelor's Degree
- Proficiency in English
- Non-native speakers with excellent language skills and classroom experience are encouraged to apply
- Previous teaching experience, a TEFL diploma, and familiarity with educational technology platforms like Google Classroom are preferred but not essential
Schedule
- Teacher orientation will start on August 3, 2026
- Term 1 will commence on August 14, 2026, and end on June 4, 2027
- Teaching hours will not exceed 20 per week, with an additional 2 to 5 hours per week for extra duties such as student monitoring
