Grade 4 Primary Teacher

The teacher will work with students aged around 9 to 10 years old (Primary 4) and be responsible for their development in a number of subjects, as well as cognitive and attitude development.

Aims and Tasks

• Able to teach English, Math, Social Studies, Health Education, Art, P.E., and Computer classes.
• Able to design lessons and activities that align with the Thai national curriculum.
• Able to participate and cooperate, as well as prepare activities for school events such as Mother’s Day, X’mas, etc.
• Able to help slow learners with the school’s extra activities for slow learners.
• Able to handle classes of 25 students.
• Passionate about teaching and striving to improve their teaching career.

Working Hours

• Mondays to Fridays from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Qualifications

• Preferred age between 22 and 35 years old (flexible).
• No preference for gender; the teacher must be able to take care of young learners.
• At least a bachelor’s degree (preferably in an educational field).
• Additional seminar, workshop certificates, etc. are appreciated.
• Required TOEIC result.

Accommodation and Benefits

• The school will help the teacher find accommodation. However, the teacher will be responsible for the rental fee.
• The accommodation rental rate will be around 3,000-4,500 baht per month (rates may vary depending on preferences).
• The accommodation is usually equipped with Wi-Fi and laundry service and is situated in an area that is easy to travel to the school and markets.
• Starting salary is 22,000 baht.
• The school will help with visa processes and pay for the teaching license, work permit, and 1-year visa.
• The teacher will have 1 week of holiday during Songkran festival and all Thai government holidays, with pay.
• The teacher will have 6 days of annual leave, excluding sick leave.
• The school will provide Thai breakfast and lunch from Mondays to Fridays (Thai food).
• The school will provide accidental insurance and social security health care after the teacher has received their work permit.
