Grade 4 Elementary Teacher

King Mongkut’s Institute of Technology Ladkrabang International Demonstration School (KMIDS) is seeking a dedicated and experienced Grade 4 Teacher to join its team of educators in developing the Elementary Program.

Located in Bangkok, KMIDS provides an English-medium international school program primarily for Thai students, following the Common Core curriculum with a thematic, inquiry-based approach. This role is an excellent opportunity for an educator to implement best practices in a growing institution.

The program is in its developmental stage and features small class sizes of approximately 12–15 students, allowing for personalized learning. KMIDS is well-resourced, maintains a low student-to-staff ratio, and is planning for WASC accreditation in the future.

Qualifications

• Licensed elementary teacher
• Experience teaching upper primary grades, preferably Grade 4, in a national or international English-medium school
• Familiarity with the PYP or similar inquiry-based frameworks is an advantage

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver inquiry-based instruction aligned with Common Core standards
• Design and implement engaging curriculum, lesson plans, and assessments
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment
• Support students’ academic, social, and emotional development
• Use diverse teaching strategies, including differentiated instruction and technology integration
• Monitor student progress and provide timely, constructive feedback
• Communicate and collaborate effectively with parents, colleagues, and school leadership
• Engage in school development initiatives, accreditation processes, and professional development
• Participate in co-curricular activities and contribute to the school community
