Grade 2 Homeroom Teacher
About this position
Pan-Asia International School (an IB World School) in Bangkok is seeking a qualified Grade 2 Homeroom Facilitator (Native English Speaker) for an immediate start.
The successful applicant should have at least 2 years of experience teaching primary students in an international school or a school where English is the medium of instruction. The candidate should have a pleasant personality, strong classroom management skills, a genuine passion for working with young children, and excellent professional ethics.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field with a teaching qualification
- Minimum of 2 consecutive years of teaching experience
- Experience teaching primary students in an international school or a school where English is the medium of instruction
- Preference will be given to candidates with an Education degree and/or IB PYP or international school experience
These qualifications are required to meet the requirements for obtaining a teaching license and work permit in Thailand.
Safeguarding and application requirements
- Acceptable police clearance certificates (or equivalent) from the home country and the country of current residence
- Three professional references from current and previous employers
- Shortlisted applicants will be required to present original documents and may be asked to conduct a teaching demonstration
Salary
THB 50,000 per month, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
