Native Japanese Teacher Wanted for Bangkok Language School - Full-Time Position (includes evenings and weekends)
Join the fastest-growing language school in Bangkok! Modulo Language School is seeking a full-time native Japanese-speaking teacher who is available to teach evenings and weekends. Our ideal candidate is personable, knowledgeable, friendly, and effective, and is dedicated to helping students learn and improving their teaching skills.
As a qualified Japanese teacher, you will teach a mix of adult learners (70%+), children, and teenagers of all levels. We teach a wide range of courses, including general Japanese, business Japanese, academic tests, reading, writing, phonics, and many more. Ninety-five percent of our lessons are private, though we do have some small groups, up to a maximum of 8 students. Modulo also does a lot of corporate work, and sometimes those classes are a little larger.
What makes Modulo a great place to work?
- Competitive rates for teachers: 410 baht per 50-minute private lesson (Monday to Friday), with a 15% increase on Saturdays and 10% on Sundays.
- Small group classes pay up to 600 baht per lesson.
- First-year teachers can expect to earn over 45,000 baht per month on average, with the rate increasing to 430 baht per lesson for teachers on their second contract.
- Limited paid leave for all full-time teachers, and up to 34 days of unpaid leave for holidays and vacations.

Requirements
- Hold a bachelor's degree.
- Hold a Japanese teaching certificate.
- Currently reside in Thailand, or be willing to relocate.
- Be available on evenings and weekends.
- Be a native Japanese speaker from Japan.
- Be willing to make a one-year commitment.
