Full Time English Teacher Tokushima

Squbee English in Tokushima, Shikoku, Japan is seeking a full-time English teacher to join our school. We have about 200 students, from toddlers to adults, and a 43-year history. The closest large cities are Kobe and Osaka.

Squbee English has been serving the Tokushima community for many years and offers classes for all ages.

Responsibilities

• Teach classes to a range of students from young children through adults
• Create engaging and age-appropriate lessons
• Maintain a positive, energetic classroom environment

Qualifications

• University degree in any field
• Preference for candidates residing in Japan with a valid visa; overseas candidates with relevant experience will be considered
• Enthusiasm for teaching young children is especially desirable

Details

• Start date: June 2, 2026
• Salary: 250,000 yen per month
• Average teaching hours: 25 hours per week (maximum 30 hours)
• Work schedule: 5 days per week (Tuesday to Saturday)
• Generous paid holiday schedule, including most national holidays (including Golden Week), plus summer and winter breaks
• Housing: An apartment can be provided; rent is about 43,000 yen per month, no key money or deposit required. Apartment is minimally furnished and within biking distance to the school. Rent and utility costs are the responsibility of the teacher.
