Full-time English Teacher Chon Buri

Kasetsart University Laboratory School Multilingual Program (KUSMP) is a Thai school operated under the Faculty of Education at Kasetsart University, one of the most respected universities in Thailand. The school is located at Amata Nakorn Industrial Estate, Chon Buri, about 1.5 hours from Bangkok. KUSMP runs a multilingual program and serves students from Grade 1 to Grade 12 (ages 5–17).

We are looking for an enthusiastic and flexible English teacher to join our teaching team.

Position Available

• Full-time English Teacher (1 position)
• Main teaching focus: Grades 5, 7, and 8
• Additional teaching: Grade 7 and 10 (Skill Subjects)
• Starting date: ASAP

Qualifications (Non-Negotiable)

• Native English speaker with a passport from the USA, UK, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Ireland, or South Africa. Highly proficient non-native English speakers from Europe may also be considered on a case-by-case basis.
• Under 60 years old.
• Bachelor’s degree (at minimum) in any field (education-related preferred). The degree and transcript must be legalized by the Thai Embassy in the country where you obtained the degree, and verified again by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs/Thai authorities in Bangkok. Please ensure you can complete this process or have already completed it. This is mandatory; applications will not be considered without these verified documents.
• Able to provide a clean criminal background check, tax documents (if previously employed in Thailand), and a TOEIC score (for South African and non-native applicants).
• Able to relocate to Chon Buri.
• Able to plan lessons using provided textbooks and work as part of a team with Thai and foreign teachers.
• Must join school activities when required.
• Working conditions: classrooms do not have air-conditioning (the teacher’s office is air-conditioned).
• Prior teaching experience in a Thai school (formal schools, not language centers or private tutoring) is an advantage.

Salary and Benefits

• Starting salary: 42,000 THB per month
• Annual raise beginning from the second year
