About this position

Kyungpook National University in Daegu is seeking a full-time instructor for the Language Education Center to teach English classes for conversational and academic purposes.

Position Details
  • Starting salary: 2,900,000 KRW per month
  • Overtime pay: 40,000 won per teaching hour
  • Teaching hours: 140 hours per session
  • Sessions per year: 6
Qualifications
  • Native English speaker
  • Preference for candidates with an M.A. in TESOL, M.Ed., and/or Linguistics
  • Candidates with a B.A. in a relevant field (ELT) plus a TEFL/TESOL certificate will also be considered
  • Over 2 years of English teaching experience; previous EFL experience teaching adults, especially in Korea, is preferred
  • University teaching experience is advantageous
  • As of January 2026, applicants must be residing and working in Korea
