Foreign Lecturer - Surat Thani

Prince of Songkla University, Surat Thani Campus, is seeking qualified individuals for the position of Foreign Lecturer within the Faculty of Liberal Arts and Management Sciences. This is a full-time position at one of Thailand's leading institutions in the upper southern region.

Responsibilities

• Teach English language courses for 15 hours per week.
• Provide consultation for lecturers and students during office hours, totaling 15 hours per week.
• Design and organize extracurricular activities to enhance students' English proficiency.
• Edit academic papers.
• Conduct academic research.
• Develop short course training programs for students and community members.
• Participate in faculty and university activities.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Doctoral degree in English Language Teaching, TESOL, TEFL, or a related field.
• At least one year of teaching experience.
• Applicants must be under 55 years old.
• Candidates from non-English speaking countries must provide a valid English proficiency test score:
  • TOEFL ITP: minimum score 513
  • TOEFL iBT: minimum score 65
  • IELTS: minimum score 5.5
  • TOEIC: minimum score 605

Salary and Benefits

• Doctoral degree: 30,000 Baht/month salary plus a 10,000 Baht/month allowance.
• Master’s degree: 24,600 Baht/month salary plus a 10,000 Baht/month allowance.
