Experienced Native English Teacher

HighScope Indonesia is an internationally accredited school with 15 schools throughout Indonesia. Our programs range from early childhood to elementary, middle school, and high school. This position is for our head unit in TB Simatupang, South Jakarta.

Requirements

• Must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, preferably in English Literature, English Education, or another relevant degree.
• Have a valid teaching certificate (TEFL, TESOL, CELTA, etc.).
• Significant work experience related to teaching English as a first language.
• Strong capability in teaching academic writing, research papers, fiction writing, etc. for high school students.
• Native English speaker from the UK, US, NZ, AU, or IE.
• Computer literate, with sufficient ability to use Microsoft, Google Workspace, and other teaching media.

Job Description

• Responsible for teaching and learning activities in the classroom, including creating lesson plans, implementing teaching activities, and monitoring each student's progress.
• Teach students using an active learning system.
• Creatively engage students in lessons and keep them curious and attentive.
• Inform parents about their children's progress during conferences.
• Perform other responsibilities assigned by the Principal related to the school program.
