ESL/EFL Teacher - ILA Vietnam

ILA Vietnam is looking for expatriate ESL/EFL Teachers (full-time) to join our team in Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi, Binh Duong, Bien Hoa, Ba Ria, Can Tho and more.

Qualifications

• English proficiency: Native
• Minimum 3-year Bachelor's degree
• A recognised English Language Teaching qualification of 120+ hours (TEFL Level 4 Certificate or higher, AVSE TESOL, CELTA/Trinity, or equivalent)
• Candidates with teaching practice/experience are highly preferred

Responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver dynamic, communicative lessons across a range of levels to the standards set out in the Teacher Handbook, following the ILA Young Learner syllabus.
• Follow, adapt and supplement prescribed project lessons and develop strategies to ensure successful academic outcomes.
• Link the academic programme with project work through meaningful classroom activities.
• Ensure students receive constructive and positive feedback on completed work.
• Assist in placement testing and classroom allocations of students.
• Undertake essential administrative tasks such as maintaining records, classroom registers, lesson plans and assessments as directed by the Centre Manager or Academic Manager.
• Share academic materials and resources as needed.
• Carry out any duties reasonably assigned by the Centre Manager, Academic Manager, or Senior Teacher.
