ESL/EFL Teacher at ILA

ILA Vietnam is looking for expatriate ESL/EFL teachers (full-time) to join our team in cities including Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi, Binh Duong, Bien Hoa and more. Qualifications

• English proficiency: Native-level
• Minimum 3-year Bachelors degree
• A recognised English language teaching qualification of 120+ hours (TEFL Level 4 Certificate or higher, AVSE TESOL, CELTA/Trinity, or equivalent)
• Teaching practice/experience is highly preferred. For positions in Da Nang, Nha Trang and Vung Tau, employment record demonstrating at least 3 years of English teaching experience is compulsory.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver dynamic, communicative lessons across a range of levels to the standards in the Teacher Handbook and following the ILA Young Learner syllabus.
• Follow, adapt and supplement prescribed project lessons and develop strategies to ensure successful academic outcomes.
• Link the academic programme with project-based activities in the classroom.
• Provide constructive and positive feedback on completed student work.
• Assist in placement testing and classroom allocations.
• Undertake administrative tasks such as maintaining records, classroom registers, lesson plans and assessments as directed by centre leadership.
• Share academic materials and resources as needed and carry out other duties reasonably assigned by the Centre Manager, Academic Manager, or Senior Teacher.
