ILA Vietnam is seeking expatriate ESL/EFL teachers (full-time) to join our team in various cities across Vietnam. Successful applicants will be contacted to discuss their preferred city. While we will consider your preference, openings are limited and we may need to propose a different location.

Qualifications

• Native English proficiency
• Minimum three-year Bachelor's degree
• Recognised English Language Teaching qualification of 120+ hours (TEFL Level 4 Certificate or higher, AVSE TESOL, CELTA/Trinity, or equivalent)
• Teaching practice/experience highly preferred. For roles in Da Nang, Nha Trang and Vung Tau, an employment record demonstrating at least three years of English teaching experience is compulsory.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver dynamic, communicative lessons across a range of levels to the standards set out in the Teacher Handbook and following the ILA Young Learner syllabus
• Follow, adapt and supplement prescribed project lessons and develop strategies to ensure successful academic outcomes
• Link the academic programme with projects through meaningful classroom activities
• Provide constructive and positive feedback on completed work
• Assist in placement testing and classroom allocations of students
• Undertake administrative tasks such as keeping records, classroom registers, lesson plans and assessments as directed
• Share academic materials and resources as needed
• Carry out duties reasonably assigned by the Centre Manager, Academic Manager, or Senior Teacher
