ESL Teachers in Ukraine

We are Apex Education, a company operating in Ukraine since 2018. Our mission is to raise the first generation of Ukrainian children without language barriers.

We have several positions opening on September 1, 2026, for teachers from the USA, the UK, Canada, Ireland, or Australia:

• Math and Science teacher (Cambridge program in English)
• ESL teacher, grades 1-11 in Kyiv, Ukraine
• ESL teacher, grades 1-11 in Odesa, Ukraine

Details of Position

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Teach the provided syllabus using ESL methods
• Participate in training workshops and meetings once every three months
• Maintain regular communication with our office
• Participate in demo lessons (paid)
• Participate in video assessment lessons (paid)

Qualifications

• Must be a native-level English speaker
• At least 1 year of in-classroom ESL experience with young learners aged 6-10
• TEFL teaching certificate or higher
• BA degree
• Police clearance check
• Verifiable references

Salary and Benefits

• Competitive salary based on your experience and interview performance (40,000-70,000 UAH/month)
• All teaching materials provided
• Monday to Friday schedule (weekends mostly off)
• Maximum 25 teaching hours per week, with no office hours
• During the probation period and afterward, we offer 730 UAH per hour depending on performance and guarantee a minimum of 18 working hours per week. The average number of working hours per week is 18-25.
• The candidate arrives in Ukraine on a tourist visa. After completing the probation period, we organize the process of obtaining a temporary residence card.
