ESL and Subject Teachers in China

Available Positions

• ESL teachers (kindergarten, primary, and middle school)
• Homeroom teachers (kindergarten and primary)
• Subject teachers: mathematics, physics, chemistry, biology, psychology, history, geography, global perspective, Cambridge English, sociology, English literature, ELA, business, economics, computer science, STEM, drama, music, and art

Curriculum: IB, AP, A-Level, IGCSE, and ESL programs

Working Schedule: Monday to Friday for schools; flexible for training centers

• 20-25 teaching periods per week on average
• Class duration: 40-60 minutes
• Class size: 20-30 students in schools; 8-15 students in training centers

Responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver high-quality lessons based on the curriculum
• Develop engaging classroom activities and learning materials
• Assess student performance and provide feedback
• Maintain classroom discipline and a positive learning environment
• Participate in school events, meetings, and teaching development programs
• Communicate with parents when required
• Support students' academic and personal development

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or above; education or a relevant subject is preferred
• Native English speaker, or fluent for subject positions
• TEFL, TESOL, CELTA, or a teaching license; PGCE or QTS preferred
• 1-3+ years of teaching experience, depending on the role
• Experience with IB, AP, A-Level, or IGCSE is preferred
• Eligible for a China work visa, including a clean background check and health check

Salary & Benefits

Salary range: 18,000-40,000 RMB per month before tax, based on qualifications, teaching experience, and position.
