English Teachers in Yangon

Edulink Myanmar is looking for quality teachers to join us in late May. If you are a dedicated, qualified, and experienced native-speaking English teacher, this could be the opportunity for you.

Face-to-face positions are available in Yangon. Edulink has been operating since 2012 and is one of the most respected members of the education community in Myanmar. We are a language school teaching a variety of English courses both at our centre in Yangon and at off-site locations at clients' offices. We are looking for dedicated educators to join our committed team and help us transform the futures of our students.

Responsibilities

• Teach General, Business, and Academic English programs across a variety of levels using recognised ESL teaching methods, including the Communicative Method.
• Teach both adult and young learner classes.
• Teach test preparation courses, particularly IELTS.
• Teach classes in both face-to-face and sometimes online modes.
• Conduct placement tests accurately.
• Complete administrative tasks promptly, completely, and effectively.
• Counsel students about educational matters when required.
• Participate in professional development activities and attend meetings when required.
• Contribute actively and enthusiastically to Edulink events.
• Be an active part of a team.
• Be professional, polite, courteous, punctual, and dedicated to the best interests of your students.

Salary: USD 1,800-2,000 per month, depending on experience and qualifications.

Start Date: Late May 2026 and into June/July.

Duration: 1 year with the opportunity to extend.
