English Teachers in Indonesia

Magenta Language Academy is looking for enthusiastic, professional, and internationally minded English teachers to join our academic team in Indonesia. We work with schools and educational institutions across multiple regions, providing English programs focused on communication, confidence building, and interactive learning experiences.

This opportunity is suitable for teachers who want to gain international teaching experience while working in one of Southeast Asia’s most culturally diverse and welcoming countries.

Placement Opportunities Available Across Indonesia:

Jakarta, Bandung, Surabaya, Medan, Lampung, Palembang, Makassar, Kalimantan, NTT, and other cities.

Teaching Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging English lessons using communicative approaches
• Teach students from various age groups depending on placement
• Create a positive and supportive classroom environment
• Prepare lesson materials and classroom activities
• Monitor student progress and provide feedback when required
• Participate in academic meetings, trainings, and school events

Requirements

• Native English speaker or expat teacher with near-native English proficiency
• Bachelor’s degree in Education, English, or a related field preferred
• TEFL, TESOL, CELTA, or DELTA certification is an advantage
• Previous teaching experience preferred, though motivated new teachers are welcome to apply
• Positive attitude, professionalism, adaptability, and strong communication skills
• Comfortable working with children and teenagers
• Willing to be placed in various cities across Indonesia
