English Teachers for Kindergarten to Preparatory

For the 2026-2027 academic year, Sakkara International School is seeking highly motivated, enthusiastic Kindergarten, Elementary, and Preparatory Teachers for the English subject.

The contract start date is September 1, 2026, and the end date is May 30, 2027.

Teachers are expected to arrive in Cairo by September 10th for orientation. The contract starts from the date of arrival in Cairo. The academic year starts on September 20th.

Sakkara International School is located in Maadi, Cairo, Egypt. The school stages are Kindergarten, Primary Level, Preparatory Level, and Secondary Level. The school also offers IGCSE and American High School Diploma programs on campus. Established in 1993, it serves the Egyptian, American, and British communities seeking advanced education and linguistic skills.

Since 1993, the school has expanded very quickly. Student enrollment grew from 34 in 1994 to 1,590 last academic year. The school continues to grow with its pupils to maintain its reputable standard and level of education. Its success comes from the open-minded mentality of the School Board and the diverse, enthusiastic staff.

The teacher-to-pupil ratio is high to ensure comprehensive education and to help selected children achieve a better academic future and language proficiency. The average class size is 25 students.

Last academic year, the school had 19 foreign teachers (American, Canadian, Australian, British, Irish, and French). Different ideas, skills, and cultures are welcomed to motivate students to study English, which is the first language in the school alongside Arabic. Students study all sciences in English starting from the early years.
