English Teacher - Ilsan, Goyang City

Baengma Fortian is seeking a dedicated individual for an English teaching position in Ilsan, Goyang City, near Seoul.

Job Details

• Start Date: First week of November, 2025
• Location: Ilsan, Goyang City (40 minutes from Gangnam; close to Hongdae and Itaewon)
• Working Hours: 1:30–9:00 PM, Monday to Friday (hours may vary during Summer/Winter intensive courses)
• Grade Level: Elementary and middle students (ages approximately 9–15)
• Monthly Salary: Starting from 2.6 Million KRW or more (based on experience and qualifications)

Requirements

• TEFL/TESOL certification or equivalent ESL teaching qualification
• Bachelor's degree (non-English majors accepted)

• Passport photocopy (first page)
• National criminal background check with apostille (within 6 months of start date)
• 4 passport-sized photos

Obtaining the criminal background check takes around 2 months; start the process early.
