Hongik University Elementary School is seeking a full-time English teacher based at Seongmisan-ro 51, Mapo-gu, Seoul for the 2026 school year.

Basic Information

• Location: Seongmisan-ro 51, Mapo-gu, Seoul (Hongik University Elementary School)
• Job Type: Full Time
• Term of Employment: March 1st, 2026 ~ February 28th, 2027
• Working Hours: 8:00am - 4:00pm, Monday to Friday
• Teaching Hours: under 18 teaching hours per week (40-minute classes)

Benefits

• Salary: 2,500,000 KRW / month
• Housing Allowance: 500,000 KRW / month (No deposit provided from school)
• National Medical Insurance: 50/50 split
• National Pension: contribution 50/50 split

Requirements

• Native English speaker with a bachelor’s degree or higher (Education, English, or Linguistics preferred)
• Currently residing in South Korea and holder of an F4, F5, F6, or E2 visa
• Minimum of one year of teaching experience with elementary school students
• TEFL/TESOL certification
