About this position
The Faculty of Management Science at Silpakorn University in Bangkok is seeking a full-time English Language Teacher to join our team. This position involves teaching English to undergraduate students in business management disciplines such as Business Innovation Management and Marketing.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and deliver lessons for undergraduate students
- Mark assignments and administer and grade tests
- Develop supplementary teaching materials
- Attend staff meetings and assist in examination administration
- Report on student performance
- Opportunity for extra teaching hours with additional pay
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in linguistics, teaching English, or a related field
- TESOL, TEFL, CELTA, or similar certification preferred
- Non-native English speakers must provide proof of proficiency with specific scores in IELTS, TOEFL iBT, or CEFR
- Experience in a university setting and familiarity with Thai working culture are advantageous
- Positive attitude, adaptability, and strong teamwork skills
Contract and Salary
- One-year contract
- Negotiable salary starting at ฿42,000 per month, based on teaching experience
- Work permit will be provided upon receipt of a clean Non-B visa
