English Language Support Teacher

Windfield International School, located in Koh Samui, Surat Thani, is seeking a dedicated and flexible English Language Support (ELS) Teacher. This full-time role offers a competitive salary of at least ฿50,000 per month.

The position is critical in launching and developing a new independent language program aimed at beginner-level English learners (Pre-A1 CEFR) to support their access to the Cambridge curriculum.

Responsibilities

• Develop and advance the ELS initiative in collaboration with school leadership.
• Create and deliver engaging lessons for Pre-A1 level learners.
• Teach foundational literacy and basic reading and writing skills.
• Facilitate functional language acquisition for social inclusion.
• Adapt learning materials to bridge early language acquisition with Cambridge curriculum requirements.

Ideal Candidates Should Have

• Experience with early-stage English learners, particularly at Pre-A1 level.
• Background in Key Stage 1 (KS1), EFL, ESL, or EAL environments.
• Exceptional patience, dedication, and adaptability.
• A strong commitment to inclusive education for non-native English speakers.

While experience in behavior management is advantageous, it is not required, as the primary focus is on language development and curriculum access.
