English Language Specialist

The School of Information Technology, KMUTT, Bangkok seeks two full-time English Language Specialists to teach English language courses to SIT undergraduates, postgraduates, and staff.

Responsibilities

• Teach English language courses to undergraduates, postgraduates, and staff.
• Deliver classes in IT-equipped classrooms; typical class size 25–30 students.
• Teach 2–3 hour sessions; maximum of 12 hours of teaching per week.
• Participate in online teaching, materials and course design/redesign.
• Edit academic texts and collaborate with a small, proactive professional team.
• Work full-time (30 hours per week).

Qualifications

• Native English speaker; non-smoking.
• EAP/EFL experience in Thailand.
• Master’s degree in TEFL/TESOL/ELT.
• International TEFL/TESOL certificate.
• Valid TOEIC score of at least 850 or CEFR Level C2.

Benefits and Conditions

• Salary: 35,000–50,000 baht/month plus 8,000 baht/month for accommodation.

• 10 days business leave; 15 days medical leave; Thai public holidays.
• Two-bedroom furnished, air-conditioned apartments available nearby (7,500–9,500 THB/month), next to Thonburi Park and about a 10-minute walk from KMUTT.
