English IELTS Teacher Tashkent

TO PROSPECTIVE TEACHERS:

At present our English school is looking for native English teachers for General English and IELTS/TOEFL preparation. We welcome retirees with experience teaching in different cultures. We will need teachers by the end of February–beginning of March, 2026. This position is teaching-only; there are no administrative responsibilities.

Qualifications / Requirements

• B.A. in English or Education, or at least 5 years of active classroom teaching experience with children and adults.
• One teaching certificate (TESL, TESOL, CELTA, etc.) confirming teaching experience or equivalent.
• Always prepared for classes in advance.
• Grade and return students' papers on time.
• Behave in a professional manner and be well organized at the workplace. We do not welcome disrespectful or unprofessional individuals.
• Total teaching hours: 30–32 per week. Our working week is Monday–Friday (5 working days).
• Classes will run individually, in groups (22–25 students per group), and with corporate customers (at the customer's office).
• Teachers will have ESL (all levels), Conversational English, and IELTS groups.
• Teachers should have their own laptops.

We offer a 12-month contract with the possibility of extension.

• Salary: discussed during the interview. We pay only in the national currency of the Republic of Uzbekistan; the salary is intended to provide a comfortable life in Uzbekistan.
• We always pay on time. Money transfer to the teacher's home-country bank account and currency exchange are not our responsibility.
• Accommodation in the Civic Center: one-bedroom apartment, not shared, fully furnished with basic utilities.
• All utilities (electricity, gas, hot and cold water, taxes) paid by the employer.
• Internet expenses covered by the employer.
• Paid leave: a 10-day summer vacation (paid), a 5-day winter vacation (paid), 5 national holidays (paid), plus 10 days of additional summer vacation after a full successful year of contract.
• Transportation to/from the airport provided.
• All visa expenses covered — entrance visa and working visa extension.
• Labor certificate paid for by the school.
• Airfare to Tashkent reimbursed only after 10 months of the contract period.
