SUTTON English Academy is an established English academy located in Daechi-dong, Gangnam, just a 3-minute walk from Hanti Station (Bundang Line). We specialize in teaching elementary-aged students, with a strong emphasis on critical thinking, discussion, novel studies, and writing.
We are looking for a friendly, enthusiastic, and dedicated English teacher who genuinely enjoys working with children and takes pleasure in seeing their students grow. Our ideal teacher is someone who enjoys bringing ideas to life in the classroom, encouraging students to think independently, and making learning both meaningful and enjoyable.
Position Details
- Location: Daechi-dong, Gangnam, Seoul
- Students: Elementary (Grades 1–6)
- Working Days: Monday–Friday
- Working Hours: 1:00 PM – 8:30 PM (maximum of 5.5 hours of classroom teaching per day)
- Actual Teaching Hours: Maximum 5.5 hours per day; the rest of the working day is used for lesson planning, curriculum building, project/event planning, correction, and related tasks to better structure your classes.
- Monthly Salary: KRW 3.2 million (fixed starting salary)
- Biannual Bonuses: KRW 500,000 each in March and September (KRW 1 million annually)
- Starting Date: ASAP (negotiable)
- Visa: F-series visa holders (F-2, F-4, F-5, F-6)

- Previous elementary teaching experience is preferred
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher
- F-series visa holders (F-2, F-4, F-5, F-6)
- Korean applicants with native-level English proficiency are also welcome
