Elementary English Teacher and R&D Roles

SPARK Education is currently seeking full-time elementary teachers and an R&D member in Seocho. If you are a native English speaker with a passion for education and are currently residing in Korea, we want to hear from you!

Teaching Position

As a teacher at SPARK Education, you will play a vital role in guiding early learners to become confident, independent learners. Your positive communication skills and enthusiasm will be key in fostering a supportive learning environment.

Requirements

• Native English speakers only
• Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in Korea
• Must be cleared for teaching by the Department of Education in South Korea
• Currently living in Korea

Working Conditions and Benefits

• Working days: Monday to Friday
• Working hours: 2:00 pm to 10:00 pm
• Starting salary: 3.2 million KRW with housing
• Additional benefits: Flex paid time off, severance pay, pension, national health insurance

Starting salary is negotiable based on experience and performance.

R&D Position

For the R&D role at SPARK Education, we are looking for a candidate who can also serve as a substitute teacher. The ideal candidate will have experience creating and editing educational materials for elementary and middle school students, along with a deep understanding of the educational needs of English language learners in South Korea.

Requirements

• Native English speakers only
• Experience with workbook, worksheet, and template design
• Proficient in content editing and possess above-average reading, writing, and editing skills
• Must be comfortable working with advanced young learners
• Must reside in Seoul

Working Conditions and Benefits

• Working days: Monday to Friday
• Working hours: 2:00 pm to 10:00 pm
• Starting salary: 3 million KRW without housing (negotiable after interview)
• Additional benefits: All national holidays off, flex-paid time off, severance pay, pension, national health insurance
